For now, I can not imagine loving anything more than I love these two little ones. Become busy 4 year olds, opiniated 7 year olds, moody tweens and so on. That I these 2 years olds that I love more than life, are gonna disappear. I dont know, I am really struggling with this. I dont love them right now, like I love my babies. My husband said "You will love who they become, you will hold them then." Yeah but I dont know those people yet. What wouldnt I do to hold my 2 year old babies one more time?

The mom in the tv show was a psychotic villian yet I empathized with her so much. And I mean, I have to finish shopping, we cant just stand there hugging for hours but also, they will grow up and I dont know who they are gonna be. Not because of the horror element but because, just today when I had them in the shopping cart at the grocery store and they kept asking for hugs. My twins are 2 years old now and I regret watching it so much.

I do not recommend you watch it at all, but I recently watched on Netflix Junji Ito Maniac collection and one of the stories there was about a mom (warning graphic!!!) peeling layers of skin off of her 20 something daughter to get to the 2 year old version of her trapped inside, the 2 year old who was cute and sweet and kept asking for hugs. Anything you teach in an indoor classroom can be taught outdoors, often in ways that are more enjoyable for children. The best education does not happen at a desk, but rather engaged in everyday living hands on, exploring, in active relationship with life. It has really resonated with me as my kid grows.
